Sometimes you can...turn off both the printer and the computer. Then make sure the printer is plugged into the computer. Once it is. Turn on the printer and then turn on the computer. Go to add printer on your computer and select add. The wizzard will walk you through. If that doesn't work then go to the company online and see if they have an updated download for your printer and vista
