The sim card holder is too loose on a lot of new Nokia phones. Place some folded paper (3,4,5,6 times) between the sim card and the sim card holder. It should fix it. I have an E65 and had this problems for two days after buying it. Since I fixed it 3 months ago, never had this problem again. Hope it works for you too.

Please try to turn off the Mobile phone , take out the SIM card, wait for 15 seconds to insert it back and try again to turn on.....

If that doesn't help. Try different SIM in phone if available, and also try SIM in different handset.....

Most probably SIM card has gone bad and needs to be replaced from Phone operator

  1. Dear, Sim card registration failure happens in only 3 cases:
  2. Your number is temporariy disconnected by the service provider. Either u asked the service provider to disconnect or put it in safe custody (customer driven), or the service cut off the services due to over-due payment on this number or any other number under the same name and address (service provider driven)
  3. The number is permanently disconnected. It means the number is lost, and will go to recycle bin for some 2 to 5 months, before its re-issued again in the market. 03. The PUK entered incorrectly for 10 times, and the SIM card is now blocked. You need to purchase a new SIM card. All your previous details in the SIM card stand cancelled

That is your sim card and network related problem, your sim card has corrupted or your network has blocked your sim card. Kindly contact your network helpline for further help.

I can't register my 02 sim card it always says '' SIM card registration failed''

That means that your SIM card is permanently disconnected. If your SIM card is prepaid, you may have to buy a new one. If your SIM is postpaid, please call your mobile service provider to report the issue so they can reactivate your SIM.

I use my brothers phone to get a number but he did not give it to

there is no special on nokia or other handset. you just call to costumer care which simcard you are using. they will tell you details. but main thing you copy 20digits behind sim and who did registration on this sim card.

Need my puk code

puk code, personal unlocking key. It is sim card related / specific, if you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.

The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.

The puk code may also have came with the documentation of the sim card, if its a prepaid card the puk code comes on the documents or on the box of the product.

if your unable to obtain the puk code, get a new sim card.

also entering the puk code wrong too many times will eventually ruin the sim card forcing you to buy or contact your service provider for a new sim card.

There are no puk code calculators or anything that we can do about it, you can buy premium assistance and you will get this same response. Theres no other solution.

You have to contact the phone service provider of that sim card or replace the sim card.

Can't help you even if you paid.

Need to unblock it says sim registration failed( network operator did this as i lost it)

The phone is barred as it is reported lost, the phone is the property of the Network or the Insurance company if you had a replacement... If you didnt then you can just call them and they will unblock the handset for you, let them know that you have found it again...

Anyother method of unblocking, is illegal in most countries and is also impossible on this handset.

My friends phone says PUK blocked how do i get the puk block off

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code.
if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.
