Power light flashes and there is no response to buttons. Power light goes steadily red in between episodes, but when I push any of the buttons, it starts flashing again.

DVD is stuck and the red power light flashes constantly. Does not respond to any buttons and tried disconnecting, restarting.

Remote control doesn't work

well, you have not given us a lot of info to go by. First thing is to replace the batteries with fresh ones. make sure the DVD recorder is in full view by the remote control, nothing in the way, not in a cabinet, etc.

Flashing Battery Symbol on GPX PDL805

The appearance of a battery symbol while you are using just the battery means that you are using just the battery.

That's it.

No Problem.

The flashing battery symbol is a constant reminder to you that a power intensive function is only supported by the battery, and that you should make external power available so as to complete the task without losing power in a battery drain event.

Sanyo Dvd player is not responsive to any buttons, "Disc in" and "Play" light are contantly on, and well as the power button which is not responsive and the eject button is not...

Try unplugging it from the wall for a minute, then see if it works. If not, it's probably a power supply problem inside the unit.

Hope that helps

No response from DVD - Blue on light flashes but nothing else

I think we're on about the same model here. I found that holding down the "Source" button whilst switching on the power at the mains would temperorly solve this issue. However, it would be nice to switch it on normally.
