Question about Sony KV-32FX20U 32" TV
All of a sudden, my TV started showing pink lines across the screen about 1cm in diameter. All channels work fine, I have tried changing the scart leads but no joy. Can you help ??? Thanks
Smack the back of your TV, seriously, it just worked for me after none of the other methods on here worked

You do not say the orientation of the lines and if they are the same on all channels. If they are angled and/or moving then it is usually interference and can be any colour. If the lines are always present they are being picked up in the circuits inside the TV, and not from the aerial or scart. The source of the interference could be from a faulty circuit in the television (continuous) or a nearby aerial mast (usually intermittant). If it is only the satelite reciever giving the probpem the dish angle needs correcting as it may be picking up from a nearby satelite on the same frequency.

It sounds like you are going to need to have the convergence IC's replaced. Not really a hard job, but the job requires the proper tools, soldering skills, and a service manual to get the proper part numbers and to perform convergence alighnment in the service menu after the IC's are replaced. Good Luck
