I keep on receiving error message in my laptop saying my norton 360 has full storage. what should i do?thanks.

Click on My Computer> Right click C: drive (if this is OS drive)
Click "properties" and write down how many megs/gigs are shown as free & available. If your HD was REALLY that full I would expect you'd have considerable difficulties functioning & likely be UNABLE to even do a defrag.

Yes, if you took the deal, you would be paying them yearly, for "extra" storage not on your machine (maybe unavailable should you be unable to access the internet).

You can, for modest money, buy a USB thumb drive of 8 Gigs for about $20 to off load various items (creating more free HD)or do full back up onto a couple of DVDs (assuming you have a DVD burner) or 6+ CDs or to a ext. hard drive used for storage.

Unless there is something new in the program and it will prevent you doing a back up of the machine in normal manor, you don't need to rent space.

Note: I don't use Norton so perhaps I'm missing something

I've just downloaded Norton on my computer and wish to copy it to my 2 laptops. How is it done?

To correctly answer your question, I need to know the Norton program installed on your computer. Please check if the Norton program is Norton Internet Security, Norton360 or Norton Antivirus on your computer and do the following steps to install on the other computer

If it is Norton Internet Security, click on the link www.norton.com/nis11
If it is Norton Antivirus, click on the link www.norton.com/nav11
If it is Norton 360, click on the link www.norton.com/n360s_5

Double click the downloaded icon after the download has been completed
Follow the simple installation steps to install the latest version of Norton onto your other computer

That's all, friend,

Wireless internet connection issue

Hi,

Try these steps below.

ø Try to use the website IP address in IE.
ø Disable/Configure Norton Personal Firewall from Norton Internet Security.
ø Disable Windows Firewall.
ø Disable/Enable IE proxy settings, if available.
ø Uninstall Norton by downloading & installing the Norton Removal Tool

If you are not able to connect to the internet after performing these steps then it is not any issue with the wireless and then you need to contact your ISP.

Plz try it and get back..

Dreamkam

I have a samsung notepad laptop.it has no disk drive and has a trojan virus on it which wont even allow me to get onto the internet.i was given norton security with it but with no disk drive how do they...

norton should be able to scan 'flash memory', and remove mal-ware. click on my computer, choose your flash drive- right click and choose 'scan'. since norton came with your 'netbook', it should be able to clean your 'flashdrive'- do you have any usb peripheral drives connected? norton should detect, and clean them, as well! make sure you 'update' your norton definitions first- if you can! try un-plugging any peripherals, before you run it. if it cleans up- then upgrade your norton definitions, and reconnect any peripherals, and run norton on them!! norton should allow you to chose which device to check!
good luck!

Installing norton anti-virus without internet connection

Yes it is possible.
To install full version you need either to purchase a disk or to purchase the download from Symantech.

If you have purchased the download or if you want to install the trial version download, just copy the install file onto an usb memory stick.

Plug the memory stick with norton install file onto your computer with no internet and run the installer from usb stick.

This will install norton with no need for the Internet.

If you buy nortom full version you may need to validate installation by phone, but that is not complicate.

You can download Norton from one of the websites below:

Just about anytime you do an install and not burn the data to disc, that happen. Not always but most often.
That data is lost as far as I know. I did same thing and lost 200 movies.

Sorry about the news....
