Question about LG VX4600 Cell Phone Over-the-ear Handsfree Headset Headset
I have no enhancement setting. I have no head set setting. I've never used a head set. I tried alcohol. To no avail. What else can I do? I can't hear it ring. I can't hear any commands. Can't hear anything. Thanks, Amanda

SOURCE: Car kit
there is internal damage an easy fix is to plug it into the car charger and it will only work on the charger you should have let the phone sit out and dry with the battery detatched. my phone did the same thing about 3 months ago. if that doesn't work you'll need a new phone

SOURCE: car kit mode
Car kit mode is usually caused by debris in the phone's cable connector (at the bottom of the phone). The debris causes two or more contacts to be electrically connected to each other, causing the phone to think it's connected to a car kit. Remove the battery from the phone and clean the cable connector contacts with some rubbing alcohol and the corner of a towel. Also, try using an opened paperclip to scrape the contacts in the connector, this will remove any corrosion that may have built up.
