Question about Denon AVR-484 5.1 Channels Receiver
Hola, tengo este problema, mi amplificador prende y luego de 5 segs aproximadamente se apaga, cuando esta apagado tiene una luz roja de Stand by que se queda oscilando. Me podrìa ayudar alguien a saber que debo hacer.

Disconnect all speaker wires on back and then turn on. If it happens again, it's most likely a power supply problem. If it doesn't happen again, it was probably crossed speaker wires.

The flashing light indicates that it detected overheat. Too much power could be one possible cause as tdrose hinted.
Mine was the same but the problem went away after 2-3 weeks. Looks like a burn-in issue for me.
When the standby light flashed, I switched off the mains with the little knob next to it and waited a minute or two to let it cool down. then I turned it back on again and the uptime woudl be longer than before. After off/on for 2 or 3 times it would last the whole day. After 2-3 weeks the prob went away altogether.
