I brought the DXG 305V camera from a pawn shop and whenever I turn it on camera or video mode it show the picture really dark. It is like I am standing in a completely dark room and there is light on where I am taking the picture. Is there any way that I can brighten up the camera to where the picture will come out brighter???

I have pretty much the same problem. I thought it had something to do with the white balance but everytime I change the white balance, I get the same response.I have pretty much the same problem. When i go to take a picture or a video it comes out dark. you can't hardly see the person i took the
picture too. It's very fustrating not knowing how to fix the matter. all those buttons are not helpng at all. Can i get any suggestions on how i can make the pictures come out brighter?

Yes there is just go to http://www.dxgtechusa.com then you will see "Customer Service" click on that then Click on " Downloads " then your going to see the lin for "User Manuals" and "Drivers"
Taking a picture inside is dark. It need light. That why you have to take a picture daylight outside. Because it for outdoor. About indoor, it too dark.
If you mean that all you see in the viewfinder is puprle (or a bunch of other colors/lines/patterns) then the CCD is damaged or a ribbon connector has come loose. Either way it is going to require service.
this doesnt work indoors if the light is not good enough so stop trying. Additionally have it on 320 resolution for a more frame rate ( better picture..)
