My partner deleted the microsoft program from the computer. I have re installed it, but cannot access any of my emails when I sign in ( [email protected] )I can see I have emails but cannot open the in box or do anything on the site. I have contact live for the past week, but ofcourse they are probably emailing me & I can't see any of my emails. All I have is an old email message on the screen & on the left the inbox shows my emails growing each day, but I have no idea who they are from. I have urgent business I must get to, and have tried everything I can think of to access. My phone number is 08 8447 2147, as emailing me won't help!! could someone PLEASE get back to me ASAP thanks Jan

My best guess as to what your problem is, is that you need to tell Outlook what your mail servers are......... And as each Internet Service Provider has their own your best bet is to give your ISP a call and ask the what your pop3 and smtp servers are.

Then you need to tell outlook what those servers are, the procedure for that varies a bit depending on what version of MS Office/ Outlook/ Outlook express you have.

A possible way for you to contact Live would be to sign up for a free web based email such as MSN, Yahoo, Hotmail, or gmail. As these email servers are all web based and don't rely on Outlook for you to receive a message they should give you a reliable way for Live support to contact you, and a backup email account for the future ;)

Hope this helps
Dave

Which Webmail account >?????
Webmail is a type of email that allows you to access your messages on any computer with a browser and Internet connection.
Webmail has its advantages over email clients (such as Outlook) in that it allows remote access to your account.
It also is convenient because it does not require extra software to be installed on your computer. It takes a couple of moments to log in to your webmail account.
Open a browser.
Go to your email service login page.
For example, If you have a Yahoo! account, go to http://mail.yahoo.com/, if you have a Gmail account, go to http://mail.google.com/ and if you have a AOL account, go to http://webmail.aol.com.
Contact your Internet service provider if you're not sure of your Webmail login page.

Type your user name and password in the fields provided on the page.

Click the "Go" or "Sign In" button.
You will be taken to your email account where you can manage your messages.also
Accessing your webmail account in one of the available ways is simple and should only take a few minutes to set up.
Use a web browser like Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox to go to your webmail site.
Sign in to your account where you can read, send, archive and delete messages, among other functions.
This is the simplest way of accessing a webmail account and is the way most free web-based email was accessed in the past.
This method is useful if you are away from your normal computer and need to check your messages.
Configure a desktop email program like Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird to access your Hotmail account.
Using a system known as POP3, desktop email software can access your webmail account and deliver email directly to your computer.
You can use these programs for all the standard features of your webmail service.
See Below for details of how to configure your Hotmail and Gmail with desktop email software.

Probable solutions to Hotmail email access problems

  • Verify the internet connection - Is it indeed working? Try loading other web sites like Yahoo.com.
  • Delete the temporary internet files / cache of the browser. You can do this through the tools and settings section.
  • Change the HTTP settings - please refer Hotmail sign in problem for details.
  • Use a different browser - I suggest downloading and installing Google Chrome.
  • Your account may be blocked. Hotmail suspects you may be using the account to send spam and hence disables access to it. Please contact the Hotmail support staff or wait for a day and check again.
  • If you are running Windows XP or Windows Vista, download and install Windows Live Mail email program - please refer that link for step by step instructions. You then need to set up your Hotmail account - for screenshots and walkthrough read Windows Live Mail settings for Hotmail accounts.
This is a lengthy process, no doubts; but has many advantages. You maintain a copy of the emails on your local computer which protects against accidental online deletions and account hacking and you can access your emails even without an active internet connection.

I am trying to download yahoo mail on my laptopcan u telll me how to do it

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

First, Yahoo Mail is not a program that can be downloaded to your computer.

If you have a Yahoo Mail account, click on the link below and enter your Yahoo email address and password to sign in.

If you do not have a Yahoo Mail account, click on the link below and at the bottom of the 'Sign In' box, click on - Create New Account. Then follow the instructions.

After you click on the link you should Bookmark the sign in page - or add it to Favorites - to have a shortcut to the sign in page from then on.

Cannot remember my msn id and password

MSN Messenger (now called "Windows Live Messenger") uses an email address as a use ID and a password. You may be able to retrieve those from any computer you used to access MSN Messenger.

MessenPass by Nirsoft
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/mspass.html
Download and install. The program will reveal the user name and password stored by common instant messaging programs on the computer, including MSN Messenger.

MSNLivePasswordDecryptor by SecurityXploded
http://www.securityxploded.com/msn-password-decryptor.php

Download a
nd install. The program will display the user name (email address) and password for any MSN/Windows Live account on the computer, and stored by any type of program (MSN Messenger, web browser)..

If you think you know your user ID for MSN/Windows Live, you can ask Microsoft to reset the password for the account:

I cannot sign in my yahoo account though i have entered the proper account name and password.i have also deleted the cookies but still not yet helped in signing in... do help.

In many cases the problem is with your browser. I'm going to suggest you download and install either Google Chrome or Firefox to sign into your email. Once installed, go to the Yahoo Mail Sign In page and sign in.

Download Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome

Download Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

I need a product key code for office 2007 student edition

The trial period is up and it is time to purchase a key from Microsoft. Or you can go to http://www.sun.com and download and install their free OpenOffice 3. This office suite has data base, spread sheet, presentation and word processing programs too. OpenOffice will import MS Office files so you can still use your data. If you want a free publishing program, check out Scribus from http://www.scribus.net/.

Email

hi,
it was better if u have specifeid on which domain u r having ur ud.
still this might be the cause..
1. Some browsers(like opera and firefox) are programmed to erase all cookies and passwords after you close the browser. You can check that in the tools tab in firefox and preference in opera. Internet explorer 7 also has this feature.

2. In some email client you cannot log into same account from two different Computer....So when u log into one at the other end it is logged off...this might be one of the reason.

3. Or try this www.eprompter.com ...download this free software and get rid of email handling...

Hope to get rated as helpful.

Bzoy...
