It's repairable, sounds like the main board, but try some other cables and sources to see if the same thing happens

Dell w3000 no green power light unit will not power on

This was a product malfunction with that TV. Dell ended up paying out $$ in a class action suit over this product...I think I got a check for like $30 in the end. There is no fix I was told...but try to toggle the master switch, or unplug and plug in again - that often times worked for me. In the end I bought a new tv though because the frustration level was too much.

Philips 55P8288A tv has a dull color and a red hue.

This sounds Like the the coolant for your piture tube has become cloudy and needs replacement (usually blue or green tube - thats why the image seems ovrely red). It's a big job (labour wise) since completee dissassembly is required ($200-300). It can be done youreself - check out TVrepairkits.com to get the coolant and instructions.
You can confirm that this is the problem by dissassembling the unit to the point where you can view the face of the CRT's (red green and blue) directly.

W3000, power and audio but not picture

Yes I tried it and now I have nothing, not even a green light. So much for that. I have 2 of these sets. If you never unplug them from 110 I never have a problem. Un plug them and wait 2-3 days and nothing.
Any lawyers what to take this on?

Dell W3000 display issue - logic board or inverter?

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

DVI input does not work. Senses input but shows no signal.

Could be a hdcp issue. If the bluray player is High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection but the tv isnt then youll get no picture, can you connect via scart.

Dell tv w3000

Try turning the master power on and off a few times. Give it a few secs inbetween power offs and that should work. It's worked for me. Sometimes it takes longer that other times to show a picture.

Dell w3000 has green power on no video just audio only

Had same problem as described by others, green light, audio, but no picture. Decided to look inside. Layed the TV face down on three textbooks (1 at top & 1 at left & Right) so that back (9 large screws & 2 small screws) could be removed along with stand. From the power supply (board that 110v AC plugs into) there is a cable connected to a circuit board on the left (again looking from the back of the TV) covered by metal shielding. Unplug this cable clean the male contacts with a miniture wire brush (bought mine at Home Depot) & plug the cable back into the socket. With rubber gloves (just to be safe) plug the AC cord into the back of the TV & wall and turn on your TV. The bulbs should activate in 7 - 8 seconds. Reassemble the back of the TV & install the stand. Enjoy your TV Doug
