You need to do a tension assembly test.
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";}Tension assembly test. To do this test. Pull the threadthrough the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is workingcorrectly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 orsomething in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through thetension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. Itshould pull noticeably harder.)
If it doesn’t work this way then you probably have a pieceof thread or lint stuck inside the tension discs. To remove it, turn thetension to 0 zero and raise the presser foot.Using a small screwdriver, openthe space between the discs and spray with canned or compressed air. The stuffshould come out. Do the tension test again to make sure you got everything andthen try sewing again.

My bobbin thread continues to bunch up on the back of the fabric.. How can I fix this?

Is it really the bobbin thread that is globbing? Check closely. Usually it is the upper thread accumulating under the fabric.

If it is in fact the bobbin thread, then the bobbin case is not threaded correctly, the bobbin case tension needs adjustment, or it is broken and needs replacement. There are web sites and YouTube videos that show how to adjust the bobbin case tension.

QUICK FIXES: Remove all the thread from the machine. Clean the area around the feed dogs and bobbin area. Oil as instructed in the owner's manual using ONLY fresh, good quality sewing machine oil (only 1-2 drops each spot). Install a brand new needle insuring it is installed correctly. Avoid using fuzzy, old, or bargain bin thread. Rethread: Be sure you raise the presser foot BEFORE threading the upper thread so it will seat properly in the tension disk--and check to make sure you are threading the machine correctly. Check that the upper tension is set properly (the factory standard is usually the halfway point between the high & low number on the selection). Test on a scrap of the fabric you wish to sew. Adjust the upper tension--either tighten to pull the upper thread toward the top of the fabric, or loosen to pull more upper thread down.

I have a Singer CE-100 and I would like to know why it keeps beeping and stopping?

There are a few problems this could be. Your top thread could be broken or about to break; your bobbin thread could be broken, about to break or empty/about to become empty and is loose around the bobbin; you could have a birds' nest (a mass of thread just under the fabric/presser foot and/or within the feed dog and bobbin) forming and causing a jam; or it could be your Futura having a little bit of a hissy fit. Obviously, if you've checked for broken thread you need to move on. Check for a birds' nest by removing the fabric and clip your threads. If you find one, clear it, rethread your bobbin and begin sewing again. If there's no birds' nest, then place the fabric back in and try sewing/embroidering again. If the machine acts up again, I recommend removing the fabric/hoop, rethreading your top and bobbin threads, replacing fabric/hoop and resuming where you left off. If the machine still gives you trouble, try hitting the start button for a couple of times and seeing if the problem doesn't simply resolve itself. When you're embroidering areas that have a few small, short stitches only, the machine seems to act up a little and then behaves fine once you bypass the area. Be sure to take all of the other steps first, though, because a birds' nest will RUIN a beautiful seam or embroidery.

Thread is balling up and not allowing the fabric to move it isn't stitching right

This can be caused by several different things. Check the threading. Un-thread the machine and follow the guidance on the manual and re-thread the machine. The bobbin, if the bobbin thread that coming out of the bobbin case in a wrong direction, could cause this. Re-set the direction. When you pull thread from the bobbin case, bobbin should roll counter clockwise. The needle, if it is not the right size needle for the fabric or the needle is slightly bent, maybe replace the needle and try with different size of needle. Once its balling up, sometimes it's left some thread in the machine under the needle plate around the feed dog, clean them up. Thread tension, different fabric may need to be adjust the thread tension, try to check this one under the manuals/instruction. When ready, check and use a scrap of fabric/remnants!

I have the futura ce-100. When embroidering it

This annoys the heck out of me, cause it happens a lot more than it should. There can be some valid reasons as to why it happens, though.

Not picking up the Bobbin thread

I cleaned the machine good with canned air, oiled it. I took out the bobbin case and cleaned it good also. I then noticed the tension screw on the bobbin case was loose, tightened it and the problem was fixed.

Problem with bobbin case - new machine Singer CE 100

My problem is solved (I think...that is a knock on wood kind of thing). Upon recommendation from another Futura user, I remove and clean my bobbin case and I put a drop of oil in the little hole under my bobbin case about every 5th or 6th monogram use. AND, I pitched all of my bobbins that were 15 and not 15J (I had some that were 15 and they were the culprit as well.) I have had no more problem. It seemed the least bit of lint caused me a lot of birdnesting. I also stopped using rayon thread and use only polyester and bobbin fill in the bobbin. I have got to say I am thoroughly enjoying my machine these days. Please try these things before giving up on this so user friendly machine.

Tangled bobbin thread

Okay. I had this problem too. try taking the bobbin casing out. I had a bit of thread lintg caught in a remote area of the under-plate area. Blow it out with canned air and oil your machine. That should help. It fixed mine.
