Question about Jason Natural Cosmetics Jason Designer EM630 Rectangular 72" x 36" x 20.5" Combination Air-Whirlpool

1 Answer

Jason Whirlpool This happened once before, and now again. We let the tub sit without any use for a year or two without using it at all. Now when filled with water, it won't start. We had our plumber speak with someone at Jason and he had it running quickly. He said something about it happens when not run for a long time. Any ideas?

The issue turned out to be simple. I managed to trace the electrical wire back to the fuse box. Pressing the TEST button on the GFI breaker did not trip the breaker, so I suspected the breaker itself was bad. I checked for current: none. I then replaced the breaker and everything works.

How do you clean the jets in a whirlpool tub? Is there any product to put in water and run jets to clean them?

Put white vinegar in the water and run it through your tub. Fill the tub to it's maximum running capacity, which is normally just above the jets, and pour a gallon of vinegar in the water with it. Let it run with the vinegar for about 20 minutes, then turn it off and let the vinegar sit in the jets for about 30 minutes. Then start up the jets again for about another 10 minutes and drain. Then run plan water through the jets for about 15 minutes, drain and that should do it. I would recommend doing this at least once every 2 months depending on your water type and how often you use the tub.

The washer has a musty/sour smell to it...any way to clean it?

There are several things you can do. First you might try filling with hot water and dissolving 1 cup of baking soda. Let it sit for about an hour. Then complete the cycle and when done, leave the top open so tub will dry completely.
Second, you might try the same thing but use 1 cup of chlorine bleach. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and then complete the cycle. Again, leave the top open so the tub will air dry.
Finally, you can fill with hot water and use 1 cup of white vinegar. Let it sit for an hour and then follow the same procedures above.
Once you've run the cycle, you can wipe down the interior edges and under surfaces with a rag that has been moistened with the solution of vinegar or chlorine.
The baking soda neutralizes odors. The chlorine bleach will kill mold and mildew spores. The vinegar is acidic and it too will prevent the mold and mildew from growing.
Once you've freshened the washer, remember to leave the top up after you've completed all the laundry so that there is air and light entering the tub. Mold and mildew do not live well in bright, airy environments. I hope this helps. If so, please come back and comment on my suggestions!

My washing machine will not fill up with water. The water is running into the machine but never fills the machine. It seems like it is just running directly out again. I own a frigidaire top loading...

The drain hose must be higher than the tub. Had the drain hose at any point been lowered or dropped in such a way that it would be below the tub?

Agitator starts at begining of cycle before washer is full

Please be carful as running the agitator without enough water will overheat and kick out the motor, however it should be ok when it resets itself.
Yes, the machine should stop agitating when you lift the lid so this too is part of the problem.
After looking at the print I can only suggest that the cam contacts in the timer ( contacts 12 and 14) that start the motor are burned and stuck together.

Dishwasher tub slowly fills with water after after completion

the internal parts of the valve are sticking open randomley.the diaphram/piston in the valve most likley have lime deposits on it due to poor water would need the water valve assembly but before you buy this part i would look where the water line goes into the dishwasher and it will lead you to the valve.remove the valve from the unit and disassemble the valve.clean all the internal parts in the valve and reinstall.75% of the time this works ,if not change the valve.
