my (archos 405) when turning on it says Would you like to recover your system? click on Repair Disk or Format Disk. I did both then it says connect your device to your PC and install an update file.
My question is what file and from where and do I need to download a program to do this?

- No I connected the archos 406 to the PC and then formated and it still didn't work! Still says connect your device to your PC and install an update file. I went into Archos website and tried to loadload (Achos 405(GB) os v 2.1.04) My PC which is XP says find a program online to open it. I went to windows live and the sites said to do a .aos error scan, which I did but still cant open file, what do I do?Same Problem

- recovery 104 cannot repair. just emailed archos, they said it needed to go back for repairs- Guest
