I have just built another liquid cooled gaming system but dont know what software will give me the most use of the hardware, most operating systems wont recognize the memory I have installed. I have an Asus M3N-HD/HDMI motherboard, an Athlon Phenom X49950 2.6 ghz quadcore 64 bit processor, 8 megs of Kingston ddr2 Hyper X memory, and a Geoforce 8800 XFX video card with 768 megs of ddr3 ram. 2 seagate barracuda sata hard drives 250gb ea with Koolance hard drive coolers on them. I want to run them in a raid 0 array mirrored.Ive installed it all in a Thermaltake Armor LCS full tower case with integral liquid cooling. Gaming is the hardest thing this system will have to do, everything else is cake. What OS will use the hardware to its fullest potential?

Re: Best operating system for new build?
Either Windows XP or Vista 64 bit edition, depending on what you like...I won't get into the xp vs. vista battle here lol. The 64 bit operating systems can see all of your memory, with the 32 bit OS's, you're limited to around 3 or so gigs. Do note, that there may be some incompatibilities with a 64 bit operating system, though most programs should run fine.

Hunting Unlimited 2011 did the same thing to me when I tried to play. I installed it on Windows XP no problems. I don't know where on my laptop but it listed operating systems & I checked Vista & the software played just fine.
Hi , We can help you with great pleasure if you will please give us more details : What computer are you using ? What dvd software is causing you trouble ? What do you exactly need to do with it ? This should be a fairly simple fix. In the bottom right corner, or when you boot up there should be a REGISTER SCREEN... When it fails it will offer you the opportunity to call Microsoft. Go ahead and give them a call, let them know the type of computer you have, what the fault is saying. They may ask you to call dell and get replacement software, but since EVERY DELL ever made came with an operating system they are usually pretty good at giving you assistance.
If they dont and they force you to call dell, they (dell) might charge you a few bucks for a new install cd, or they may let you download one. Either way your problem should be solved in an hour .
for that first you need to download a WINRAR software you can have it free from any site brothersoft is best then after downloading that application you just go to the folder where you download the game and then right click there will be option of extracting the files with the help of WINRAR then it will lead to the installation process of the game.
The registry is a very important part of Operating Systems like Vista. You need a good registry repair and cleaning software, I suggest you use the software from the following web link. The software is called Wise registry Cleaner. I am suggesting this software because it is free there are many other more powerful software in the market but they will cost you. http://www.wisecleaner.com/ If this registry cleaner software fixes your problem that is well and good but in case the problem lingers on you have to at least reinstall your games but problems similar to this will carry on as I anticipate your computer may be critically infected with viruses and malware therefore I suggest that you get a fresh reinstall of Windows and reinstall your Games one by one for best results.
you want to make a game? are you serious? programers work for years to create games......
if you want, you can try... but i dont think you will be able to "make a game"
try it at java sun's official site.. you can download anything you need there... you can eventualy try to make a mobile game, but it is hard...
here is how it works:
you have to know alot, and i meen alot of codes... games and programs are nothing else but a bunch of codes. offcource, professional programes use aditional programs to make new ones, and if you were hoping to make a proffesional game :) a i have to disapoint you...
In a day or so I will give you a download link that will give you software you can use to build your own software I just need to know your operating system, like XP, Vista, Mac, etc... Just respond to me to tell me that you are interested, okay?
