Question about Cell Phones
I'm sorry to say but just about every charger port on cell phones these is hard wired to the circuit board, they are made that way so that you just buy another phone. couple months ago I had the exact same problem with my motorola V710 a nice little phone, I had it for 2 years got it used on Ebay earlier this year the charger port started to go, so I ignored it in the hopes that it was just the adapter, but I soon enough figured out it was the port and just a couple months ago it got to the point where it would not charge unless I held the adapter in place, so I said that's it I"m openingit up and soldering the connection, easier said then done! Not only that but I tore the LCD cable, basically I trashed the phone and had to replace it. If you don't mind the time grief and likelihood that you will have to replace it if anything else breaks then go for it, otherwise replace it because it's just too expensive to have fixed out of warranty. That's my 2 cents worth.
