Question about Canon LV 7325 Multimedia Projector
My projector starts up the lamp, then goes through its startup routine (counts down from 30 to 0), and runs for 2-3 minutes but then turns the lamp off. The fan continues to run for 2-3 minutes, then the READY L.E.D illuminates. The LAMP L.E.D stays on the whole time.
Could it be a lamp temperature sensor, or something?

try removing the lamp, usually quite easy, you need to find the door for the lamp. lamps are customer replaceable, usually. If the lamp is bad you can usually see it damaged in the lamp. kind of like you might be able to see the broken filament in your normale house hold light bulb. good luck.

Yes you have to reset the lamp timer.
How to do this :
1.) Hold in the up arrow key on the Projector for 5 seconds , a on-screen display will appear in the top left hand corner.
2.) It will read : Press left or right and then Menu or Auto.
Just follow the steps and the lamp timer will be reset.
Thanks for using Fixya !

Make sure the main power switch is OFF. Hold the "ON", "MENU", and
"VOLUM -" buttons at the same time and turn the main power switch on.
Keep them held until the yellow power standby light comes on, then let
go. It is done.
This works for Toshiba TDP T-9
