There should be a headphone jack on the side of your laptop. Try using a set of headphones with that jack. If you get Audio through that you probably damaged the connection to your built in speakers. If you Don't get audio then check the soundcards listing in device manager, If it say it is working properly try uninstalling the driver and reinstaling it. If it says something to the affect of "This device failed to initialize" and gives an error code, then you likely damaged some component of the audio system. If this is the case check to see if your system is still under warranty. if so take it to get it repaired. If not Call several repair shops and try to get an estimate of how much it would take to repair. If estimates exceed the cost of a new system, buy yourself a new Laptop, If repair is cheaper get it repaired.
