First, you have to put some music files in memory card using a card reader or using data cable.
Then you need to update media library to see the music files. DO the following:
1. open music player
2. Select Option
3. Click Media Library
4. Again go to option and select Update Library
You will see all your music files in music player.
Hi, 1. connect your mobile to your computer in filetransfer mode. 2. Backup all the needed data to your system and format your memory card. 3. then transfer back the datas to your memory card. 4. now the files from memory card may be recognized in your media player. 5. You music files should be in standard MP3 format or else those files will not be added to your media player even though it is in memory card. I hope this is helpful to you. Please rate my solution if you find it useful. Thanks
Connect the phone to a PC using Nokia PC Suite software or the memory card to a memory card reader.Browse to the location where the media files are stored. Select all the songs by pressing "ctrl+A" and right click and take "Properties"In the Genetral tab, untick all the attrib value.then press " Apply " then "OK".
and rename the folder which contain your media files to "My Music".Ignore this if it has been already done.
Your phone only support polyphonic, MP3, AAC files.Make sure they are MP3 or ACC media files.
Start your phone with the memory card inside and update your music library list.
You will find your favorite music there.
Note : Some mobile doesn't support very long media files name.
It contains any media file that is not supported by your mobile.. so check for the file and remove that file then update the card, your phone will start playing songs..mind it that file may not be visible to you directly, so connect it to pc and then check.
Open the music player. Press the left selection button and select Music library. Scroll down to select Update library. This will update the MP3 files to the library. If there is any MP3 file deleted or missing, it will be removed from the list from the music player.
Just select one of the MP3 file in your memory card and open it. It should work with media player. If it works with media player then the problem will be with the music player.
If this happens, go to Settings and select Restore factory settings and it will ask a password. Type 12345, and it will restore the settings to default. Then open the music player and update the library and it should work.
it's possibly because when you uploaded your files to your memory card, they weren't the right file type.
plug your memory card back into your computer, open the folder, right click on a file and go to properties.
if it isn't an mp3 type file, it will not play on most phones.
also, make sure you format the card before you put music on it.
BE CAREFUL. formatting the memory card will erase all of your data.
