Question about Tomtom GO 700 GPS Receiver
Brand new TomTom 730. Immediately after installing TomTom Home on my computer (following strictly the instractions in the manual), Go 730 stopped working ie. does not come up when it's disconnected from the Home Dock and the display shows a flashing red circle with a white x inside. Could you help please.
I have found a solution to this problem by quick-formatting the device and reinstalling the TT Home this time declining the update to a higher version (just in case).
For the faint-hearted, like myself, in the absence of a working backup I recommend copying BEFOREHAND all files from TT Go to an empty folder in your computer (using Windows not TT Home). This way if you do not succeed at least you can go back to the position before the format.

Ok guys tomtom wrote to me today telling me the problem is fixed it was the application and has been resolved. Not game to try it yet but am letting you know.
