Question about Dell Latitude D505 Notebook
I do not have cd since i moved. i upgraded from win 2k to win xp pro and tried everything to get it to work.it just keep sayying you have latest driver but its still grey
Are you saying that you don't see your cd-rom while your in windows? If this is the case, lets try to check if your cdrom is actually detected by your BIOS. Try doing this:
-completely shutdown the computer
-when you see the DELL logo, press F2 key on your keyboard
-your in BIOS whenever you see System Setup Utility on your screen
-scroll down to DEVICE INFO and check for removable media.
