When I bring up a web page with a picture, the picture does not show. I just see a small black box with a red X inside. This just started last week. Previously when I brought up web pages, pictures were visible. I can't find any settings that make a difference. I don't know if it's an IE problem or a windows mobile problem or something with the phone. Thanks for any suggestions!
I called HTC Touch customer support. Found out that using soft reset button on bottom right of phone corrected that problem. Also found out that another problem I've been having - not receiving calls when phone in sleep mode has been partially corrected by new software. I say partially because we have 2 of these. My wife's phone is now working reasonably well but mine still misses calls. I think my problem could be related to these phones not having very good receiving strength signals vs other ones I've had. I miss calls while sitting at my desk at work. Never had this problem with other phones in same location. I guess the internal antenna just isn't as good as other phones. I also drop a lot more calls with this on the highway than with other phones - that's why I suspect the phone and not the service provider.

you need to go to start, settings, connections, and you have to change the connections, edit, My ISP --- make sure its set this connects to the internet.
lets see how thats done on my own HTC windows mobile pda / phone.
3. from the bottom, connections
5. on the bottom advanced.
6. Programs that automatically connect to the internet should connect using - MY ISP or MY work network. Then click on edit
7. On the bottom proxy settings
8. check the box this network connects to the internet.
that should be it, I've had this same problem a number of times myself.

The iPod touch has a camera that can take pictures and
record videos. When you make a video or a photo, the item goes to pictures
stored on your iPod app for later viewing or sharing. If you use an iPod Touch,
you can take photos on your iPod Touch from the previous owner. These images
take up space in memory of the iPod, so you may want to remove them to make
room for your own photos and video.

1. Tap on the "Photos" icon on the home page of
your iPod touch and tap "Camera Roll" in "Albums".

2. Touch the square icon with an arrow to the right, at the
top right of the "Camera Roll" page. Tap each photo or video that you
want to delete. Each item, then select a red circle with a white tick.

3. Touch the red "Delete" button at the bottom of
the screen. Tap "Delete Selected Items" to confirm the selected items
to delete.
We're going to need more description before we can help:
1. Where are the boxes located on the screen? 2. Are they there all the time or just when you're in a certain section (like email)? 3. Do you notice any pattern to the green / red switch? Like maybe you're not receiving email or data when the box is red?
The battery gauge does show red when the battery is very low.
Maybe you could take a picture and post it with your problem description?
