Question about Marantz PMD670 Desktop Digital Voice Recorder
I purchased a San Disk Ultra II compact flash card, 8GB. When I first insert the card it reads: "BLANK CARD", but when I go to slide the record button to record it reads: "FULL CARD" and does not record. I am new to this machine, so I am not even sure if I bought the correct card.
I thought the problem may have been a faulty flash card so I returned same and exchanged it for another one, but the same thing happened.
I had this problem too recently. The unit needs a firmware update. The only hitch there, is that you need to send it in to the D&M Pro (Marantz Professional Equipment) Service Center to get the update. No cost to my knowledge, other than shipping.
