Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Lots of people have had this problem and it's either resolved with a firmware update or you are unlucky enough to have one of the many fake R4's out there.
However, given that Nintendo have been suing left, right and centre over the R4 it would be silly for FixYa to help you further with this.
You may have perfectly legitimate reasons for using an R4 such as running open source 'home-brew' but it is, at the end of the day, a device that makes copyright theft easy and Nintendo are understandably unhappy about the millions of dollars they lose daily because of devices like this.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
