Trying to add wrt54g wireless router in conjunction with SPA-2102 voip adapter and actiontec gt-701 modem with DSL. Both Linksys routers work OK independantly with the Action-tec modem but looks as if both routers require seperate internet connection directly to the DSL modem.
This is not the case you will need to set your SPA2102 to DHCP. Then connect a CAT5E to the WAN port of the SPA2102 into one of the LAN ports of the WRT54G.
WRT54G is attached to your modem the modem if it is a modem router combo will need to be in bridged mode. As you are on DSL you will most likely be on a PPPoE connection you will need to put your WRT54G in DHCP then add your DSL PPPoE account setting to the routers config. Ensure that UPnP is enabled in your router. This should work as it is the way I have it wired at home. Also if this is a provider isue you may have to put the SPA2102 first in the chain and connect it reverse.

I disconnected my incoming phone line and connected my VOIP line 1 to my R11 wall phone jack. This feeds the signal to all phone jacks in the house.
I also use the VoIP to fax and send data using my PC modem.
