I have a magellan maestro 3100. Just recently the map that is displayed shows the world and not the location that I am at. The verbage at the top and bottom are correct but it does not show a street map; only a small map of greenland, russia..etc

charge it up for a few hours, then take it outside and start
your 3100, then get a paper clip and depress the reset on the left side
near the bottom of your 3100 to reset it and let it restart, then wait
for a while (could take up to 30 minutes after a reset) and let it
acquire/lock on to the satellites. that
should fix it, but if it doesnt, let me know and ill tell you what to do
next.

I have the same problem but with a 3200. Brand new unit too. Only used it for one week.
