Question about RIM BlackBerry? Curve 8330 Cellular Phone
It is a defect for sure. Try holding the "alt" key down while entering the password. All the best. 03 12 09

Ktradam: You will have to wipe your handheld and then reinstall the Blackberry 4.3 Software using Desktop Manager that came in the box with your device. You will lose all information on the phone so make sure that all you information was backed up periodically.
Drunkmonkey: If the device is reported lost/stolen it is placed on the National Negative List and will not be taken off until the person that originally placed that restriction on it takes it off. Chances are they already recieved another device and will never even worry about the one you have.
Big Dawgg: Blackberry was having issues with their Desktop Manager and did issue an update which should have been included the next time you sychronized your device. If Nobex is a third party application, BB Desktop may have recognized it to be incompatible but installed it with incorrect scripts. You will have to delete that application or go to Nobex's site and check compatibility with that software version and call Blackberry Tech Support through Customer Care to trouble shoot and see if there are any features on your account interfering with that application.
tigerclay: Sometimes you can simply click cancel on Desktop Manager to opt out of entering a password. Times when i have updated a customer's device through Desktop Manager, it asks for a password or prompts you to enter one but I leave it blank or just press cancel. The default password is the last four digits of your password or 0000.
