have a good day.
I have Canon M560 printer installed 8 months ago. I replaced the CLI 221 Magenta and CLI221 Cyan ink cartridges, won't work and got this message Error 1411. Tried repeatedly to reinstall the ink cartridges and still have this message coming back. Any solution you could offer? I would appreciate it. Thank you.
ben
Ok my printer is giving me the U140 message saying that ink tank cannot be recognized. The new ink tank is Cannon (not a off brand or refill). i think it is a problem with the chip reader port inside the printer not the ink tank chip. I feel this way because if you switch around the yellow and black 8 tanks, the printer accepts them without error.. soo if it was the ink cartridge i could be able to swap the black with the magenta and it should read it.
This Canon ip3300 has four ink tanks... PGI-5 Black, CLI-8 Cyan, CLI-8 Magenta, CLI-8 Yellow
Lift the front of the printer while the printer is on and the ink tanks will move to the center... the empty tank will have a blinking red light... the inks that are ok will have a steady red light... press the small tab in front of the ink tank that is blinking and remove... insert and press down the new tank and make sure the red light is on to show you have replace the ink correctly...
This should work, let me know if you have any additional questions...
