P4m80-m4 usb giving 1.0 instead 2.0

You have not mention your Operating System(OS) on your PC System.

To get USB 2.0 support for VIA Chipset Mainboard
1. For Win 98 OS, you have to install "VIA chipset USB 2.0 driver"
2. For WinXP OS you must install, at least Service Pack 1, (recommended you install the lastest Service Pack 3) to to get USB 2.0 support.
3. Install the VIA Chipset drivers for your Mainboard ie "VIA Hyperion 4-in-1 driver v5.12A".

Hope it helps.

I have p4m800Pro-M2. I can not start it. No monitor signal. The fan is working on the cpu. How do i figure out if is the motherboard gone or the cpu, or the video card ?

try removing your ram chips then reinstall them. If your pc still does not start we will work from there just reply back to this posting. I will also need to know if you are using the onboard video or a dedicated video card on the AGP slot.

I have a P4M800PRO-M thats getting an DMA error. Any suggestions?

You are probably starting to have hardware failure. Since the DMA controller is in the chipset, the mother board will have to be replaced.

P5RD2-VM recognises only 2 GB

According to Asus, the max supported memory is 2 gig. That second stick of 512 is not needed and the error shown is in memory configuration.

I switched out the power supply on an elitegroup p4m800pro-m. I was originally using a 300w and now using a 680w, but now my computer wont even start up. Any input?

I believe that your power supply may be bad. If it is new , send it back. I have had that high pitched sound before and it usually indicates a capasitor going or gone bad.
