Attached a hose or insert a smaller hose to the drain hose on the back, than lower the hose below the level of the washing machine tub. Gravity will drain the tub. Have something to catch the water. If that doesn't work, your pump is plugged up and you will have to take the hose loose between the tub outlet to pump inlet.

My fisher and paykel top loader washng machine is bloked and will not Rinse, drain and spin. Mainly Drain as im pretty sure its blocked from fluff etc nybody can plese tel me how to unblock it? Thanks

The drain water pump is the main part in your washing machine that pumps out the water. If this is defective or has failed in any way, this will be the reason why your washer will not drain the water. Before you order a new drain pump, make sure tocheck the pump to be sure a small object like clothing or similar has not lodged itself insideof it causing the NO DRAIN issue. If the drain pump is not clogged, you can test it with a multimeter and remove and replace if needed. Go to Google or YouTube and search for "Replace Washing Machine Drain Pump" then type your brand and model number of washer to show you details on replacement.

Whirlpool front load washer wont go into rinse cycle screen flashes F 21

The F21 error on this line of washers is the machines way of saying the water took to long to drain from the tub. This could be a problem with one of the washer parts including the drain pump itself, how the drain hose enters the stand pipe, or maybe even something is stuck somewhere in the drain system and is preventing the water from flowing properly. Not quite an emergency, but it is an indication of a problem and a problem that can lead to something bigger if not looked into. The F21 error on this line of washers is the machines way of saying the water took to long to drain from the tub. Hi, You need to make sure the drain hose is as high as the top of the washer. If the drain hose is to low, the water wil drain out before it reaaches the proper water level.

Please let me know if this helps you or if I can assist you further.

Thanks

The washing machine will go through cycle but will not drain water it stops before drain cycle and will not spin?

Most washers will not spin if the water has not drained out of the m/c
Try and locate a filter and clean same if you can .
Make sure the pump is working, select a drain cycle and see if you can see or hear water being pumped out.
Possible that the pump itself may be faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Washer won't drain

If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

please rate this solution thanks

It doesn't spin or pump If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it.

It pumps, but the water returns If the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine after the spin cycle, your washer may be siphoning the water from a laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the washer. The usual remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is something stuck in the drain?) Also, check for these problems:

  • If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess.

  • If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.
