Request the wiring diagram from Ingersoll Rand.

The solution was easier than I expected. Ingersoll Rand "Select" oil is a synthetic oil recommended by Ingersoll as better than mineral oil. T30 (mdl 2475) and T21 are different styles of compressors. So, yes "select" oil can be used in the Model 2475 compressor.

Your problem is very simple please do he following.

1. Remove V-belt.
2. Loosen the lock nut of the compressor pulley.
3. Use a 3 jaw puller to pull-out the pulley.
3. Slowly tighten the puller and thats it.

yes white and black are both line voltage in.each wire will have 110 to 120 volts. Attach one wire to top of starter contactor left side the other to top of starter contactor right side. Attach green wire to ground.

You should not be pulling over 30 amps. If you are you may have low voltage, incorrect wire size or to long of a run for wire size. I would use a hand held meter and check the amps at full load.

from what you are describing it sounds like you are missing a couple wires somewhere or you do not know what you are looking for. The pressure switch, low oil switch motor starter coil, and overload relay should be wired in series to provide a control circuit for the motor starter. I would highly advise seeking the help of a certified electrician if you are not experienced in working with these machines. You can not only risk personal injury, but also damage a lot of expensive electrical item's real quick if it is not done correctly.

Checked all the IR compressors in stock and all turn counter-clockwise facing pulley, however you could check the pump for fan angle on pulley. The fan on the compressor pulley blows air towards the pump. Generally, pumps turn CC because that would allow for the use of gasoline engines which all turn CC.
