Hp photosmart 3110 and vista compatability issues

I have an HP Photosmart 3110 all-in-one machine and an HP pavillion desk top computer with Vista ever since installing vista I can't get the scanner to work or print directly from the internet. What can I do bearing in mind I am a computer novice.

    With a HP computer with Vista, I can print with the HP photosmart 3110 without any problem but scanning is not possible even after a HP downloaded fix. The fix cannot be installed due to vista problems. The HP Solution Center can not used and the scankey on the printer does not function.

Hello

goto the hp web site www.hp.com and start with the download & support tab, then download all the software and drivers for your model printer and vista operating system.

then install all you have downloaded and you should be ok.

Cannot install printer in windows vista.
Is your printer Vista compatible?
Did you have been installed in correct way your printer?

If this it is a driver issue, try to find the right drivers for your printer (must be compatible with Vista)
Go to the website of your printer manufacturer >> www.yourprinterbrand.com >> then go to Support >> Software and drivers

And download the driver there

If your printer is not Vista compatible at this point:

1) is better to get a new printer compatible with Vista

or

2) Downgrade your OS to one compatible with your printer.

Hi,

Not to worry, this printer is Compatible with Vista, but when it comes to Duplex Printing (Two-sided Printing) there might be problem, because in Vista Duplex printing doesn't works well.
Apart from that, this printer is the Best in the HP Photosmart Series.
