i think your windows is not genuine and it is traced by microsoft while updating windows... if it is genuine window then you can go to microsoft site and ask for genunity and if your window is pirated then registerd your windows with a nominal charge........

you will have to wait till service pack 2 for Vista comes out. The SP2 for Vista fixes the memory leak problem
