Its better take your laptop to the service centrel and complain about the battery status there, because your laptop is still under warranty, its better to avail the warranty

Laptop is not turning on after I change my laptop charger. I remove the battery and plug in my new charger it works fine but suddenly shut off. I put the battery back and plug the charger in. No good.

You need to check the charger, I do not think it is any good as the charging power is in the charger unit not the computer. It sounds as if the battery in the computer is totally dead and that is why it shut down. Hope this helps.

Extending the life of your laptop battery

Laptop battery can only last for sometime. The only thing you can do is maybe extending it for a little more time. This is true for all types of battery - high-end Lithium-ion, NickelCadmium (NiCad) or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) and basically for all brands of laptops and netbooks (Acer, HP - Hewlette-Packard, Dell, Gateway, MSI, Asus).

Some ways to extend the life of your laptop battery:
- good practice of using the original or right charger and the right specifications
- a regular dose of full-discharge and recharge, maybe once a week is recommended.
- It's also a good practice to avoid direct heat or exposing your battery to sunlight. It will be of help if you use a laptop cooler. Laptop cooler will significantly lower down the temperature at the back of your laptop, avoiding heat for your devices - hard disk, memory modules, processor and also for your laptop battery. You can notice this by yourself. Turn on your laptop for a 5 to 10 minutes. Feel the back of your laptop. Now, install your laptop cooler and feel again the back of you laptop after ten minutes. Notice a significant difference in the temperature?
- If you are using your laptop for a long period of time, for an 8-hour office work, it's good if you fully charged your battery and then remove it from your laptop (see proper instruction on removing the battery). Next is to connect your laptop to your adapter and continue with your usual work. This will give you laptop battery a needed rest. You can adjust your power setting for your laptop to hibernate once you closed the lid of your laptop. This will ensure that you still save you current working environment if you wanted to also take a rest.

I am not getting any power to the laptop i have the battery disengage from the laptop with direct power it is still not comming on

you need to put the baterry back on if the battery is bad replace it, the charger is for the baterry. a laptop needs a battery to work, the power that is coming out of the charger only charges the battery it isnt going to power on the pc, it is for maintaning the proper voltage in the battery.

Laptop is getting heated very quickly and it is not even giving any backup charging

Try getting a portable laptop cooling system. They're about $10 on Amazon. Simply plug it in to your USB and rest your laptop on the pad. That should keep it cool. If you can't get a cooling pad, try getting two solid pieces of some (wood can work fine) and put one on either side under the laptop. Keep it elevated but away from the heating vent. This way, it's above the surface and the laptop may stay a bit cooler.
For the backup charging problem, you may need a new charger or computer battery. If the battery isn't charging, that means it dead.

Clean the baterry connector port with an alcohol solution or Spirit solution.and try.
If you can get hand to another battery, check out if everything is fine.Otherwise replace the battery.

Check if you have warranty of the battery.

The battery does not charge anymore ,the bios setting says idle

remove battery and reseat.
Use VOM (Volt-Ohm Meter) and phsically check to make sure the power supply is putting out advertised voltage (typically 19-20 VDC)
Make sure power supply recepticle (the female part on the laptop itself) has not been broken or reamed out such that contact is not being made.

When you plug power supply in, does the charging light on the laptop come on?
