I WAS BACK UP ON THE SONY SITE BUT IT LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT OS IS ON YOUR COMPUTER? TALKING WITH SONY THEY CLAIM THAT FOR XP,SP2 AND VISTA THAT THE FIRMWARE AND DRIVERS ARE IN THE MICROSOFT SOFTWARE?! THEY CLAIM THAT THAT EITHER SYSTEM SHOULD RECOGNIZE YOUR CAMERA AND INSTALL THE PROPER FIRMWARE. I CAN RUN DOWN ANY UPDATED DRIVERS THEY HAVE AS SOON AS I HAVE YOUR OP. SYSTEM ON YOUR COMPUTER. OK? I'LL BE WAITING.

BEEN DIGGING AND FOUND THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FROM SONY. THE PROGRAM"CYBER-SHOT VIEWER VER.1.0." IS DUE TO BE CHANGED TO" PICTURE MOTION BROWSER " BUT AT PRESENT I FOUND THE PRESENT SITE. IT'S A BEAR TO ENTER BUT WILL TAKE YOU TO A DOWNLOAD SITE. SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE AND CLICK AGREE TO THE LICENSE AND THE PAGE WILL OPEN. OK? HERE IT IS. GOOD LUCK!

There it is and it's hot so you should be good to go! Hey, if this turkey doesn't work, yell! and i'll get back to Sony to find another download site that will! Good luck man! You said you were overseas? Can you say where? Just wondering. I just finished helping a guy in Turkey! Man, that was different! The language part was tough! Ok, just reply as usual! ARCLIGHT1217

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Are you sure it is your charger and not the battery? (Batteries)

You could buy a new Sony charger, but there are lots of universal camera battery chargers, that won't cost as much and you can use it for every battery from every camera. Pick the right one and you have a charger for years to come, whatever your new camera will be and how big or small the batteries are.

Zoom lens will not open - camera will not open

Drop the camera onto a carpeted floor from about a foot and a half to two feet. I did this once when my DSC-H50 had the same problem and it immediatly began to work again. It landed just on the fron edge of the cylinder around the edge. I left the lens cap on. Many people have had this same problem with other sony models and it works well for them as well. I know it sounds far fetched which is why I am including this link: http://www.digitalcamera-hq.com/digital-cameras/sony-cybershot-dscp200_question.html?qid=3653

That is where i found the information to fix the same problem you are experiencing.

Unable to imprint date on pics with my sony cybershot dsc-h50

should work if your setting it up right. The date looks awful anyway. it will be right on the front. then you can't get rid of it on the picture. I took my date off. Ruined a few good pictures with the date right in the way.
