I have the same problem with my 1 yr old LG Tromm DLE7177WM electric dryer. There is nothing in the filter and the duct is brand new. In addition to the sensors remaining 'on', there is no heat coming from inside the dryer, no matter what setting I put it on.

Our LG Tromm dryer does exactly the same thing. "Dry" light flashes but while running and "cooling" light stays on. Clothes take forever to dry.

Same issue here. Cooling light never turns off (hasn't since we bought it only 2 months ago) Now the timer jumps time and is doing weird things.

We are having the same problem, our dryer is about 4 years old and it just started doing this today. Has anyone had any luck figuring out what is going on? Thanks!!

I checked the gas valves. One was bad, so I changed the pair. They only come in pairs. Now my dryer works with the proper heat, but the cooling light still remains on.

LG TROMM DLE7177RM Dryer: when I turn power on it says Clean Filter, filter is clean. when I select settings and turn dryer on it says simultaneously ''DRY'' flashing and ''COOLING'' on -- it ends up...

Ah you unhooked it from the wall, but did you go outside and see if air flow was adequate outside. Quite often flexable hoses and duct work get plugged with lint. If that is the case be glad your dryer had pleanty of safetys. If you start it briefly with the hose disconnected, do you get the dry light flashings? Metal duct work all the way outside is best.

You might need to check the exhaust on the rear of the Dryer, or the blower motor iether one has lint inside, restricting the air flow
