Hi, lost the caller ID on my Gigaset C300 since changing from BT to Vodafone who say it's been enabled- any suggestions please? UK

Does it pick up caller display on another phone? If it does, you may have a compatibility issue. If not, Vodaphone have not switched it on yet.

CLIP not working in siemens gigaset al140

The display should indicate what's going on with CLIP, and why it's not showing up.
You should either see an icon of a BELL, "WITHHELD" or "UNAVAILABLE".
BELL = you haven't requested CLI from your carrier
WITHHELD = if caller has withheld CLI from carrier
UNAVAILABLE = CLI is not requested.

Do you see one of these three on the display when you receive a call?

Other than one of those reasons, I'm not sure what your issue might be.

Seimens Gigaset AL285 BSNL caller ID not working

The source of my caller ID not displaying was a faulty ADSL filter.
For some reason my ADSL filter blocked the caller id information - but worked fine otherwise.
When I changed the filter the caller ID worked fine again.

Does it say any of these on the display
Extern. call -means not arranged with service provider. Contact your service provider.
Withheld- Caller is withholding caller ID information.
Unavailable -your phone is not setup to display caller is with your provider.Contact them.

In addition your phone provider must support CLIP,CLI and CNIP. Confirm with your provider.
