The value of the fuse should be marked on the board under or next to it and also on the metal ends of the fuse.

Take care when replacing not to exceed the amp rating of the fuse and get one from LG (set is posted as LG) and not from Radio Shack etc.

Most of these are special fuses so some "generic" fuses may just pop for no reason.

Look on fuse and board for something like 5A 120 ac which is 5 amps and up to 120 volts out of wall(a 250 volt is also fine--you cannot exceed the amperage but it is ok to exceed the rated voltage.

I would suggest you buy at least 2 fuses just to have a spare.

My electric dryer is not blowing heat, just cool air. What is wrong with my dryer.

Check the following to address this issue.

1. Heating element
A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

2. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

My microwave no longer heats anything

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube). It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

First check your 4 wheel drive switch to make sure it works, for on an off settings. (Use a volt-ohm meter for this. On should show continuity in the readings (if digital then it should show zeros in the dial) Off should show no continuity or 1.0 in the dial.

1. Check your fuses.
2, IF OK, then check your FUSE LINKS.
3. IF OK, then check your 4 Wheel Drive relay in the fuse box.
4. IF OK, then check continuity of the wires harness to the 4 wheel drive switch for DC voltage.

DS Lite F1 fuse replacement

You have to carefully dissasemble the console, take the circuit board out and find the fuses.
Then test the fuses using a continuity tester, DMM or something alike.
A fuse must show electrical continuity, or closed circuit if good and shows a open circuit if bad.

WARNING NOTE: there are not high voltajes or currents inside a small battery operated device but the same way even static current is enough to make damage in the circuit.

If you dont know how to test a fuse you might make more damage than repair.

Good Luck...
