Smith corona typewriter

All manual draw bands connect on the bottom side of the right side of the carriage a screw head or a hook.

Provided that you have a fresh correctable ribbon and lift off and they are properly installed type a letter, press correction key the correction should take place.

I believe the margin release is CODE 1.

Sometimes the metal shaft the carrier (print mechanism) rides on gets sticky. Put a little WD40 on a corner of a soft cloth and clean/lubricate that shaft.

The drive belts are no longer made. However I have found that really good hardware stores, don't even think about a big box store, sell long "O" rings that will work well.

El problema de tu Maquina es que tiene un Censor de Cubierta Abierta en la esquina de carro impresor lado izquierdo y esto no esta conectado o no lo esta oprimiendo la cubierta cunado la cierras , revisa esa area
