This could possibly be a bad picture tube, but it's more likely bad solder connections causing the blue signal to be lost. The parts (the output transistors or integrated circuit) that develop the bad connections are often located on a small circuit board connected to the back (neck) of the picture tube, or are found on the main board. You can call for service and get an estimate, or try to repair it yourself if you are comfortable with electronic soldering. It is also possible for these parts to fail (they get pretty hot), and more advanced troubleshooting skills would be needed.

My sansui dtv2760 is turning green and purple

Check its video output board for any loose solder terminals. This board can be located at the back of the picture tube, directly plugged on to it. Blue color absent is the fault to your TV.

Thank you for your previous assistance. Where do I find the CCFL tube in my sansui standard TV. How much it will cost? And Can I replace it or should any TV expert should do? Please suggest..

It generally isn't cost effective to do. Its a complex job that a technician would have to do. Making it cheaper to buy a new 20" LCD.

Sansui sdtv is having a color issue ~ green is gone and picture color is more pink or red than before

To or three likely possibilities, there is an open element in the green gun of the picture tube, or the emission is very low, the other possibility is a shorted video driver transistor on the video board.

Straight line in the middle of monitor. picture srunct

This is called vertical collapse and the most common cause is a failure of the vertical IC. If you can update this with the model number, I should be able to provide the part numbers and costs for the parts required to fix this. Also, if you intend to repair this yourself, please indicate thtat as well. The parts will cost around $20 or so.

Colours missing from tv

There are three color guns in a TV that make up the picture. Red, Green & Blue. It sounds like you have lost the green color gun.

You can get it rpeaired again, but your TV sounds like it is ready for TV heaven.
