Magicolour 2300 Toner cartridge problem

If there are color toner cartridges installed, then make sure that you are using the correct drivers for the printer. If the drivers are not correct, then it will only print in black and white

You can open the machine and use a pen or screwdriver to press the carousel release. Then rotate the carousel to access the cartridge to be swapped.

You have to tell the printer that you have replaced the cartridges.

Also, check to make sure that you have removed all the tabs and plastic strips from the toner cartridge.

yes anyone can do this, the drum is the unit the toner fits into, remove as though you were removing the toner cartridge, that the toner all the way out of the drum unit and install the old toner in the new drum and slide back into printer, again the drum unit is just the casing that your toner cartridge slips in and out of

I have a feeling that it is a re-manufactured or compatible cartridge??
There is a fuse that needs to be replaced on this unit. it blows when the cartridge is installed to reset the machine. If the fuse has not been replaced or is defective the machine will not recognize the new unit.

open door, remove waste toner box then you have to find a small switch in left side and push it wit screwdriver or something, then you can rotate the toner rack manually. then install the waste toner box again and power up printer.

It depends on the model. The 2300 series using a mechanical mirror on the cartridge itself. A tab needs to be moved the mirror slid back to home. The 2400 series & newer uses an IC that you need to replace. when you buy your toner to refill the cartridge make sure you get the IC with it. Russell

you need to replace the chips so it will read the amount of pages printed by the toner cartridge.This chip is only for measuring how many pages printed.
