This problem would require the replacement of the dial if it is the dial that has broken, or replacement of the thermostat control if the shaft of the control is what is broken.

Radiator overheating


If the overheating is only occasional, it sounds like the radiator still has some blockage that moves around and plugs up again. Try flushing it backwards again. If it continues, consider a new radiator. A radiator is cheaper than head gasket work, which may happen if it keeps overheating.

i believe that the overflow bottle has a sensor on it to tell you are low on coolant.should be half or better.as long as you are not overheating.

Buy a candy/fryer themometer. The setting numbers were inaccurate anyway.

Bought a Thor Fridge Freezer just over 10 months ago.


Last night put a bowl of water in the freezer section and turned the dial all the way to the right, Bowl is frozen over this morning so I am getting a themometer today and will set it at what other freezer makers recommend and see how it works then. I will try the water trick again and see how well it works.

Problems with fresh food side


go to nearest supply house or a good hardware store buy a themometer in the domestic ref, temp range. then compare it to read out.question is you house at 77 degrees. no way will domestic side have such an instant change in reading, the walls of the ref keep a long time fix on temp change.trust the themometer.
