I have a MS-7101 motherboard with a Pentium 4 Dual Core CPU based system . RAM is 512 MB (DDR) . However , sometime after I have switched on the P.C. , the screen (display) suddenly starts going bad ....

Most of the distorted display related to video memory. MS-7101 Motherboard coming with embedded video controller so your system memory is sharing space for the video memory. Replace and check your system RAM or check RAM module with Memtest , if it is showing error u should replace memory module.
