As a last resort you could copy the full card to a computer and then delete the pictures on the card and use that again.
Here is the error list from the camera manual.

Hi, Try to format memory stick through camera menu to solve this problem and if camera wont allow to format then try/ replace memory stick as this PRO DUO could be defective. If another memory stick gives same problem then memory stick slot connectors could be bad and visual check by local camera repair shop is required. Thanks.
The camera may display a FORMAT ERROR if the inserted media is not formatted or if the media was formatted on a computer. This error may also display if the inserted media is not supported by the camera. Try to remove and re-insert the Memory Stick media several times. Make sure that the inserted Memory Stick media is compatible with the camera. DSCW310 Camera is compatible with the Memory Stick Pro Duo upto 32 GB. You may also try formatting the Memory Stick media to resolve the issue. Format the Memory Stick media using the FORMAT option in the camera menu. Formatting will erase all stored data, images, movies, etc., from the Memory Stick media. FORMAT option is available in the Memory Card Tool Menu of the Camera which is in the Settings Menu. Please back up the data by inserting the Memory Stick in the Computer Memory Card slot. This may also happen if the terminals on the Memory Stick media are dirty. Remove the Memory Stick media from the camera and use a soft dry cloth or pencil eraser to clean the contacts. Make sure there are no residual particles on the Memory Stick media before re-inserting it into the camera. The data on the Memory Stick media or the Memory Stick media itself is damaged. Try using a different Memory Stick media in the camera. This should resolve the issue. If the error continues to display, the media may need to be replaced or the camera may require service.
The Camera may display the FORMAT Error if the inserted media is not formatted or if the media was formatted on a computer. This error may also display if the inserted media is not supported by the Camera. The maximum supported capacity and media used is Memory Stick Pro Duo with 1 or 2 GB.
If you've already captured the images in the Camera and the error message displays, then try to open different images captured in the Camera and check if the message appears for all the images.
If this happens with all the images, then remove and reinsert the MS (Memory Stick) in the Camera and check if it works. You may also try cleaning the MS terminals and also check if the Internal Memory of the Camera displays the error. If the issue persists, then insert the MS in the Computer slot and transfer all the images to the Computer. If the images appear normally in the Computer, then Format the media in the Camera. To Format the Memory Stick, select the Format option in the Memory Stick Tool Menu of the Camera. (Menu-->Setup-->Memory Stick Tool-->Format) Formatting the MS will delete all the files saved.
The C:13:01 error code indicates the issue with the Media used in the Camera.
This may be due to the: Format Error of the Internal Memory. Un-formatted Memory Stick Duo. Broken Memory Stick Duo. Memory Stick Duo type error. When the Camera cannot Read or Write the data in the Memory Stick Duo.
This can be resolved by Formatting the Internal Memory and Memory Stick Duo. If not resolved, try inserting a new Memory Stick Duo which is supported. Try power resetting, remove and reinsert the Memory Stick etc.
This will resolve the issue, if not the Camera may require service.
I had the same problem, you can solve this by: 1. Push the card multiple times in/out the slot or 2. Use a little bit of contact spray on a small piece of tissue, rap this in the length around the memory card just 1 time. Be carefull not to make it to thick that it get stuck in the slot. Then push the card multiple times in/out the slot or 3. Cut a small strip of waterproof sanding paper (grain: 400 or more - the surface feels just like paper, and is just a thin as paper) just as wide as the card or slot. Cut a strip of plastic (eg.old credit card) also just as wide as the card or slot. Rap the sanding paper in the length of the strip and insert this in and out the slot. But!! ... make sure you stay at the upper side of the contacts, don't worry just do it carefully, don't use force and sand the contacts a couple of times. This way work for me, finally!!
