My monitor goes into auto adjust mode everytime i switch on the monitor. It starts adjusting automatically. Is there any possibility to turn off this option. Auto adjust should work only if i press the + button. Kindly help me.
Auto Adjust work on the basis of resolution to which Windows set. It occurs mostly if Video drivers are not installed. Please check and install video drivers and also try to change screen resolutions from display properties in control panel.....

NO PC stated, NOT one visual symptom stated !!!!
the OP nor the 2 hyjackers even told what was wrong.
not one bit if evidence.(visual)
my guess today is the monitor went dim.
is that it?
and with autosetting, the monitor will guess wrong for 1 reason. and that is
this 13 year old screen with CCLF lamps are DIM now, even yellow looking.
be happy they are not dead. as 99% are this old.
buy newer monitor 2010 or newer with LED back lamps.
end the pain of CCFL.
i had to guess what you saw and why you think autoset is wrong. pftttt..
consider this.
the CCFL die at 20000 hours
and when dim the monitor has no way to know that itself, it has no magic eye to see its dim now.
so IT guesses wrong.
all you see as a human is the CCFL 13 years old are dim
and wonder why and guess, and guess wrong.
the tubes are shot, end of life.as all are this old.
unless parked it the attic like some of mine are now.
for 10 years.
i ditched mine long ago , the moment I see yellow tinged white backgrounds, off to limbo land (my attic)
best is to kick all CCFL devices to the curb.
end it.
