Re: Will not come on
IS good you have some indication of power, that means some of the volts supplies are working,if you are familiar with tv service you can check for loose conections in the horizontal drive and output circuits, this circuits energize the output transformer and he provides more volts supplies,if the output transistor is bad(shorted) is likely it damage the fusible resistor too.You might have to do some measurements and soldering. If you are not too familiar with tv service be safe and call for assistance from a servicer.

wait for the light to go out then press power. Then if it doesnt power up hold the menu and the Device/input buttons on the set both in together for 5 seconds the light will blink a series of blinks pause briefly then blink another number of blinks then pause then it will repeat the same two digit blink sequence a few times . Let me know the two digit blink sequence.
Does the power light just blink? Some of the Mitsubishi sets have a receiver built into them; if the power is removed the power light upon return of power should blink for 70 seconds and then go out--then the set should turn on---if the light never stops blinking---2 possible things--set should have a recessed button on the front keyboard(reset) that you can depress with something not sharp and see if after 70 seconds the light will stop blinking; if no, the set now has a damaged receiver(from the back of the set it is a large metal box on the far left side-----the blinking power light is the receiver trying to boot up like a computer---only should happen if power lost---let me know what you find----the receiver if bad is usually no longer available and can only be repaired by removing it and sending out for repair/rebuild.

Refer to owners manual ! Blinking indicates the type of fault that is occuring on all your tv sets. example : power light on red - indicator light beside it green but blinks rapidly for half a second rapidly then shuts off. This refers to a faulty lamp or a lamp that is near its expiration. Read your manuals if indicators refer to easy repair sweet, but if it says call tech then bummer...
