Question about Pioneer DEH-P4100
I just went to wire this headunit into my 2001 Dakota, and have power, the display works, i can run through all the screens, the cdplayer shows that its working, and the outputs to the speakers beep as you press buttons, but for some reason it does not play music... any ideas?

Have you measured the 12v ignition and permanent supply?
Also check the earth.
You will need a tester for this.
Check the fuses

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
You would need a special adapter that connects to the speaker wires of the Pioneer DEH-2000MP and converts them to line level RCA ports. Something like the image below and available from here or most car stereo stores.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
