Sounds like a problem with the handset...if u call ur provider and talk to tech support and explain the problem and tell them u have never dropped the phone before and never got the phone wet or anything and that u charge it the way the user manual tells u, then they should do a handset exchange with u for free. You may have to pay shipping but the phone may still be under manufacture warrenty and if so they'll send u a new one and ask for the bad phone to be sent to them. Hope this helps, good luck.

I've read only charge if batty low low..not daily How do I know if it's low. Should be coveed under warrantee.

Virtually all cell phones have a battery charge indicator at the top of the screen. That will tell you when its getting low. As far as when to charge, older ni-cd and ni-mh batteries had a habit of getting a "memory" if you recharged them too often without fully discharging them. The memory would cause the battery life to be very short. Today, most cell phone use lithium ion batteries. These are much better and can be charged daily without much issue. The problem with waiting for the battery to fully discharge before recharging is you can be caught away from home with a dead phone. This defeats the whole purpose of having the phone. As far as being covered under warranty.....what are you trying to get replaced? Batteries, for the most part, are not covered under any warranty unless their failure causes damage to the phone itself. And if that happens the battery you are using had better be the one the manufacturer recommends or all bets are off.

Why five rapid beeps and screen saying "charge battery"? I had turned on and was charging, and 1 day later phone off and charge gone.

The batteries are defective, your local supermarket should have rechargeable batteries or try an online auction site, look for the highest 'mah rating you can get something like 2800mah, the higher the rating generally the longer the battery will hold charge

I cant charge my phone. I found out that it's the phone which is faulty, and not the chargers. Any solutions? Pls help!

Greetings - If the phone is truly faulty then you've answered your own question...you need a new phone. But are you really sure the phone is at fault.

All cell phones have internal rechargeable batteries which sooner or later wear out and need replacement. Which would also explain the charging problem...so before you do anything further make sure the phones battery is not bad.

If you've already done that then I refer you to my original point...you need a new phone.

Good Luck,

Once the unit is fully charged (green light illuminated) I cannot switch the unit on. Have tried running the battery down and recharged it. Pressed every button in all combinations and ''nada''......It has...

Ok, is this a Rumour phone ?:)
if so, when you charge it you have to open the side with the pull out keyboard...you have to hit the back button to get the menu going....
I have 2 LG Rumour phones, my second is the Rumour 2...and I have to open it like this after it is charged and the green lite is lit....

It may be that you need a new battery, period and charge it fully..
This has happened to a lot of my phones...sometimes only a new battery works wonders :)
Let me know if this helped :)

GE 5.8 ghz cordless model 25922

as with all devices which return to base for charging, the life of the re-chargeable batteries is shortened if it is constantly trickle-charged, so as with a moble phone, it is good to sometimes let it run down completely and re-charge as the battery charge will last longer, batteries are like muscles, they need excercise.
