Screen is pink with rolling lines-no picture

Hi
My tv is set to run cable on ant-A. I turned the tv on and it was on Ant B so I changed it back to A. I have sound but the picture is a pinkish color with rolling- bouncing lines. When I turn it to all the other formats I have the blue screen like always. I looked in the trouble shooting section of my owners guide and it didn't tell me s**t. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks

Tabitha

This is a defective doubler/formatter board PT# 934C063001 which is available from Mitsubishi for $205.50 + S/H with another $75 core deposit. You may want to check with PTS Electronics at 1-800-797-8037 about sending yours in for rebuild. There are 2 other possibilities, Look for signs of coolant fluid on the the circuit boards (if there is your set is toasted) and a slight chance of the Signal board having a problem (fluid being the most common).

I'm trying to hook up my DVD player to my TV but my TV doesn't have a yellow jack only red and black

Hi,

If your TV doesn't have a Video IN jack (Yellow) then you would have to attach your dvd by antenna (Coaxial) cable. What does the DVD have on the back ? EG: Video Out is Yellow, Red is Right Audio, White is Left Audio. If your DVD has Ant in & Ant Out you can use a coaxial cable from Ant out to your tv's antenna In socket and put your antenna cable (from your wall socket) to Ant in on the dvd. Turn on the dvd and put your tv on a blank station and tune your tv till you see the dvd screen . lock it in and that becomes your DVD channel to watch your dvd's.

Hope this is some help.

Cannot connect to cable tv

Yes, connect cable to Ant A and ensure the TV is on the input for Ant A.

Then go into the setup menu and ensure that the Input is set to Cable not Antenna.

Next, choose the auto program option to load your channels.

If you still don't get a picture and you have a small tv to bring to this outlet try this and make sure you are able to get a picture.

If you still can not get a picture then the outlet is not active and you need to call your service provider and ask them to activate the outlet for you.

My new TV is set for cable. I do not have cable, I have an anten

Sansui TV's come from the factory set for CABLE. If this is a HDLCDVD320, you will have to go into the menu to change the signal type to AIR, then run the automatic search to program in your channels. Their free customer service line is 800 289 0980.
I hope this helps.

My Zenith VCR is not working with the digital converter box

When the VCR is "off" the converter signal should go right through the box, which you say it does. Then, when you turn the VCR "on" the picture disappears. That, so far, how it should be. To get your picture back while the VCR is "on" you must set the VCR to "receive" channel 3, and use your new converter box to change channels...accordianman

Tv/vdr/cable box

Your hookup is correct- Your VCR needs to be tuned to channel 3 or 4, to match the cable box.

Also, the VCR channel output needs to be matched to the TV. If VCR menu options are displayed on the TV then this part is right. If not, then set either the VCR or TV to the correct channel.

"ant A" and "ant B" inputs go black when the tv is first turned on.

Try opening that "Ant A, B" device and apply some fresh solder to all the components inside. Also you can try to by-pass that device using the connector below. One end connects the cable in and the other end connects to the circuitry inside the TV.
