They should be able to but it might void the warranty, if new just send it back or dont use headphone jack on unit use another device to plug in, or open it up and put the jack back

If you are good at doing such things yes, but the parts inside are very delicate and must be handled gently as not to damage them. If you are not comfortable doing it then I would suggest taking it to a local music store where similar items are sold to see if they can do it for you.

The inside (3 pin input) came out of my microphone when i was takeing out a leed and ive lost the part?

Go to your local pro audio store(or good seller on ebay) and buy an new male xlr connector, the insert should fit the mic,
wiring will be to pins 2 and 3
ground is picked by the fixing screw

This is assuming you can solder, if not then take the mic to your audio store/repair shop.

Hope this helps, thanks for using FixYa

Akg c1000s replacement grille

Maybe you could find a local music store that repairs equipment to replace the grill. Sometimes you can find parts on websites like Ebay.

Whistling background noise with Samson C01U USB condenser mic

Welcome to the world of STUDIO microphones. Super quality BUT you must have a studio to use them. You can't have any local speaker playing into them. You often use headphones lest your monitor speakers will feedback. At the high frequency capability of these mics, you can fry your amps with oscillations above what you can hear!

Did I kill my NT1A Condenser Microphone?

This mic has a pre-ampcircuit inside. It sounds like that preamp has a defective stage. What you are hearing is distortion. This is not something that can be repaired locally. This mic should be sent to the manufacturer for repair.

Cannot record

Im having the same probz, got a Hp Pavilion Vista using mobile pre amp usb when i record using a condenser mic XLR nothing is picked up from the channels in Cubase or Nuendo. Im trying to record vocals but the Mic is not picked up and i cannot hear myself in the headphones and it wont transfere to cubase.

It has worked before when i had a desktop, but this only worked with a separate m-audio sound card inside the desktop and i plug in the output jax leads from the desktop (soundcard) to the m-audio usb pre amp

Is this why it is not working for the laptop do i need a Jax connection and where is this audacity
