For NO SOUND problems, FM is the best source since there are NO connections to get wrong. Or use built-in speaker test tones.
Find the manual and carefully evaluate every indicator on the face to make sure you understand what they mean and how they might affect operations. Look for Speakers NOT enabled, Muting ON, a Tape or other input inadvertantly selected. If you fail to find the errant setting, treat it like a new install and set it up all over again according to the manual.
